Welcome to my practice. I am a clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience in cognitive, behavioral, and mindfulness-based treatments, including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In fact, I conducted some of the first research evaluating differences in how these therapies work, and how well they work. I have particular specialties in treating insomnia, depression and anxiety, including social anxiety, panic, PTSD, blood/injury phobia, and OCD. I also specialize in weight loss and binge eating treatments. In addition, I have successfully helped dozens of people reconnect with their core values, and improve the quality of their relationships and well-being. I conduct thorough intake evaluations in order to build a comprehensive understanding of causes and sustaining factors, and use this understanding to develop a personalized treatment plan. I pride myself in using the most cutting edge, science-based therapeutic approaches in order to get the very best outcome for every client.
